Stefanie is the founder of A Safe Place Trauma Center & The Songbird in Me. She is a board-certified Christian counselor with over 15 years of experience in social work, trauma, counseling, family and relationship issues, domestic violence, crisis intervention, and advocacy. With a specialty in trauma, she assists her clients with identifying root symptoms that cause stagnation so patterns can be broken and behaviors changed. She believes faith is an integral part of healing matters of the heart, mind, and soul.

Kimberly is a licensed therapist in Mississippi with over14 years of professional work experience, and owner of The Power of Healing Counseling Services. She has experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, depression, and confidence. Her expertise also includes working with children and adolescents ages 5- 17. She believes in treating everyone with respect and sensitivity and is passionate about assisting her clients from all walks of life. This passion is what allows her to create a safe environment and be a safe place for all those she serves.

As a social worker and Board-Certified Christian Counselor, I use my expertise to assist individuals and families in healing and reaching their safe places. I believe faith is an integral part of healing and implement this in practice for those who desire a faith-based approach. This is a safe place and I strive to meet clients where they are and create the safe spaces needed to cultivate and empower change.
